Hairline and Crown Planning Are Different
Hairline Restoration
Planning considers facial proportions, age, future hair-loss patterns, graft selection, and the angle and direction of existing hair. The goal is a balanced design that remains appropriate over time.
Crown and Vertex Restoration
Crown planning considers the size of the area, the natural whorl, visual coverage, ongoing loss, and how much donor hair should remain available for future priorities. Some patients may discuss a staged approach.

A Clear Plan Before Any Procedure
The team first clarifies the concern, examines donor supply, and explains realistic priorities before a surgical plan is discussed. Consultation, scalp and donor assessment, personalized design, procedure planning, and follow-up are individualized.
Choosing a Hair Restoration Service
Which hair restoration service should I choose?
The best starting point depends on where you are seeing loss, the cause and stability of that loss, your donor supply, hair characteristics, medical history, and goals. A consultation is used to determine whether FUE or another next step is appropriate.
Compare clinics with these 12 questions for California hair transplant patients.
Is FUE suitable for every type of hair loss?
No. FUE redistributes existing donor hair and does not treat every cause of hair loss. Sudden, patchy, painful, inflamed, scaly, scar-like, rapidly changing, or unexplained loss may need medical evaluation before cosmetic surgery is considered.
Does FUE leave a linear scar?
FUE avoids the linear donor scar associated with strip harvesting. Like any surgery, it leaves small round marks where grafts are removed; visibility varies with healing, hair length, skin and hair characteristics, and the extraction plan.
What happens during a hair restoration consultation?
The team reviews your goals and history, examines the pattern of loss and donor area, discusses realistic priorities, and explains which options may fit. An individualized plan can only be made after an appropriate evaluation.
